Totally still works after all these years! I make some tweaks to the syling but it's great to have an easy starting point. Thanks! -

Completely worthless. I have some kind of white background color on all words and some code has white font color so I get white-on-white and changing the style color doesn't solve much either. EDIT: The background color is removed by going into the style configurator and locking the global background color (checkbox: "Enable global background color"). BUT the main problem is that the userDefineLang.xml is completely wrong - the colors are for Maya 2010 and back. I have updated the XML for you with the proper colors - it can be downloaded here: https://www.speedyshare.com/GjFgH/userDefineLang.xml Until this XML is fixed in the download, my rating will remain at 1/5 -

In case you've got the portable version of Notepad++: 1. Put insertExt.ini and userDefineLang.xml into npp.x.x.bin\unicode. and 2. Put mel.api into npp.x.x.bin\unicode\plugins Thanks csaez. -

Its nice already but I see drawbacks: highlighting is not enabled if there is a ; right behind the command, or if the command is enclosed in ``. .. my auto completion doesn't work as welll .. but might not be your fault. am I missing something? -
