Removing menu item from optionmenu and adding new menuitems?

guys,
how can i remove menu item from optionmenu?

actually i am making option menu on a button the button creates 4 menuitems,
then i select other button which should show me 10 menuitems after clearing 4 menuitems which i make from first button?
i hope i made a sense?
