Japanese face, quickly colored with Hypershade... the main test was using shapeblenders to create facial animation. (The Video is actually only 2 seconds).
A project I was working on over the winter break. I was actually really happy with the facial construction this time around because I worked on the head in a different file. Still modeled from a single cube though except for the hair.
First attempt at character creation via Maya. Professor taught us to model from a single cube. It was very frustrating and time consuming, but non the less fun learning experience.
Dramatic facial shot of the character I created for my 3D final. The face gave me the most problems and there is a lot of in resolved issues near the bridge of the nose, eyebrows and mouth. But since then modeling faces has become easier.
