How do you double-check your position sizing when trading exotic forex pairs?

Exotic pairs are where I am most careful about position sizing because the spreads are wider, liquidity can thin out quickly, and pip values behave differently than on the major pairs I am most familiar with. My standard approach is to calculate the position before placing it rather than using the same lot size I would use on a liquid major just because the chart setup looks similar. https://roboforex.com/beginners/start/profit-and-loss-calculator/forex/ covers exotic pairs in its instrument selection which means I can get an accurate pip value and margin figure rather than extrapolating from a major pair and ending up with a position that is larger in real terms than I intended.
