Q/A

toes

Hi,  I just ran into a difficulty.  I want to rig a clown, so since he has big shoes, i wanted to have several joints (like if he only has one big toe). Is there a way to have several joints like when you choose to have more than one toe?  With one toe it only has the ball and toe joints. I want the three toe joints to curl and add secondary animation to my clown's shoes.  Is this a posibility in Rapid Rig: Advanced?

Thanks!

Hey Omar, The Rapid Rig Advanced does have the option for toe joints, however, the only way to get toe joints is with 2 or more toes. If you just choose one toe in RR Advanced, it just gives you the same joint setup on the foot at RR Basic. What you can do though, is add additional joints to the Basic version. Now two or more toes may be advantageous, so that you could have some overlapping and flopping on the inside and outside of the foot. Not sure how familiar you are with this process, but you could add more joints to the toe tip joint, and create your own controls. So that would be another option. Let me know what you decided to do! Dustin
