I'm using Maya 2008. I've had a lot of trouble getting the shader to work. When I try to import, I get an error message about compatibility. There is a mentioned "Ignore Version" option, but this doesn't seem to work. Any pointers?

there is a workaround, i think my comments on this disappeared when
highend3D became creativecrash.
What you can do is to open the .ma-file in notepad (right click and select edit),
then change "2009" to "2008" on the row at the top of the document that says:
requires maya "2009";
This should work for you.
It will also work on all my posted shaders. I will update the shaders with this change
soon.
