Problem to run the script

Date:12/17/2012
Submitted by: niaromax niaromax
Hi!

I'm trying to install ZvParent Master on a Mac OS version of maya 2013 (64bits) but it doesn't seem to work. When I try to run the script after I've put everything in the right folders (I did it before on a different computer and different maya, it worked perfectly), Maya doesn't find it.
Is this because I'm using a 64bits version of Maya?

Thanks in advance ;)

An easy way to find which folders are valid places to put the script and the zv folder is this: Run these lines in a python tab import sys print '\n'.join(sys.path) It's gonna output the folders from which Maya looks for scripts. Just place the .py file and the zv folder in one of those and it will work.

This one :) ---> # Error: No module named ZvParentMaster I've found this in the reviews : " It is autodesk path bug change path below to yours execute in scripteditor, in python tab (may need create oneif have only MEL tabs) import sys sys.path.append('C:/Users/Andrei/Documents/maya/2008/scripts ' ) import ZvParentMaster ZvParentMaster.ZvParentMaster() " but I dont really understand what to do. I'm not really good at scripting. Do I have to copy the 4 lines, replace the path with mine and paste it in my script editor (python)? Thank you very much
