Cannot view Graph Editor redux

I followed the installation instructions, but when I open up the graph editor (none of the extra buttons show) and click View I get

// Error: file: C:/Users/Name/Documents/GER/scriptsModified/graphEditorPanel.mel line 217: Cannot find procedure "syncFramePlaybackRangeCmd". //

and clicking View every time after (without closing graph editor)

I don't have View->ToolbarMode either if that helps.
