Max number of containers

Date:10/01/2013

Hello again,

I need a little information before starting to work...
I planned to create a huge collection of containers. So I just want to know if there is a max number limit of items your script is able to handle?
Or perhaps begin to slow down?
I think that you've got a big assets collections too. How many items have you got?

Thanks!

There is no limit to the number of projects, sections, subsections or containers. Speed is defined by network access speed and number of containers. At the moment, the ui simply read the folder and the build the ui every time. On a fast raid, it doesn't make any difference whether you have hundreds or tens of them. Although, on a slow or overloaded network, huge project can take a long time to build the ui. I may move to a database system in a future version to resolve this issue.
