Can you save in .ma format ?
I use Maya 2013 and i can't open it in Maya 2013.
Maybe if you share .ma format it could be possible to open in Maya 2013.

You mean this file will not work in Maya 2013 even if i save in .ma format and change its version in TEXT EDITOR and then open in Maya 2013 ?
