This shader allows you to quickly add procedural weathering and dents/chips to an object. The technique used for generating dents is based on the mia_roundcorners node. Chips will appear on an object wherever bump is applied via roundcorners- this means this technique will not work on pre-bevelled (without hard edges) meshes.
Weathering is applied via ambient occlusion and features downward directional streaks.
The shader is UV independant. Use as an ambient occlusion/dirt pass, or bake to a texture for more controlled editing.
Main tweakable parameters:
:Dents coverage is based on the radius of one of the roundcorners nodes (dents_radius_adjust). Adjust to preference/object scale.
:Swap out or adjust procedural textures to preference.
:Adjust 'Threshold' and 'Depth Decay' in the snow node.
The shader is gamma corrected for linear workflow. Remove gamma correct node otherwise.
