The best tool for mirroring skin weights. As long as your topology has middle edge with both halfs having same topology it will mirror weights in any pose. Also it`s very precise, because in its core it creates symmetrical map. This can also be used on its own as output for any other mirroring operations. Also it`s great tool for modellers to make symmetrical mesh or for mirroring face blendShapes. Highly recommended! -

This works perfect! I had to resymmetry a high density mesh (around ~100,000 verts) that lost its symmetry somewhere in the production pipeline. It already had UV's and textures, but around 70% of the body was rotated and we couldn't get to a version where it had UV's and was symmetrical. I got it for the rigging process and I saw the problem. I really needed it to be symmetrical because of the complexity of the mesh. After trying a lot of tricks and scripts, I was about to start writing a script but knew I'd need a LOT of time to research tons of stuff, but I had no time at all. Found this one and it works great because it doesn't rebuild the mesh (most of the scripts and ways to mirror a mesh rebuild it) so it doesn't change component ID's and it is exactly what I needed. Thanks a lot! -
