Hey Keymerrah, It sounds like you're copying the entire script to a shelf button from the script editor, which won't work. What you want to do is: -- Drag a copy of the script (the "abWeightLifter.mel" file in the download) into your scripts directory (which will be something like "C:\Users\userName\Documents\maya\2014-x64\scripts" on a PC). -- Start Maya (or enter "rehash" in the command line, if it's already running) and paste the following bit of mel into the script editor: source abWeightLifter.mel;abWeightLifter; -- Hit Ctrl+Enter to execute the pasted commands without clearing out the script editor input window. -- The script UI should open. If so, you can now drag the pasted mel to the shelf to create a button. If not, let me know, and I'll see what I can figure out. I hope that helps. -

This script was amazingly helpful, intuative straightforward interface which makes it easy to use. Mirrors weights PERFECTLY. much better than the Maya buggy default tool. 10/10 would recommend to any Maya user. -

Excellent script. The default maya mirror weights caused things to go haywire. Using this one made it easy to mirror all the weights (including on the origin) perfectly. Thank you! -
