@dkouts the sound interpretation is handled by the audioWave plugin provided by Autodesk... so there is nothing I can do about it, except maybe to write a new plugin of my own

works in theory on Mac (Maya 2013) but results are shaky and need to do a fair bit of manual curve wrangling in the graph editor after baking, to smooth out wobble when sound has even slight noise also have to manually position curves to zero as the factor doesnt give a clean -1 to 1 range or ability to set offset etc really good starter script though, just not quite "drag and drop a flapping jaw to amplitude"yet

Is there a way I can get this working with Maya 2012 or 2013? I am currently getting an error that says audioWave plugin cannot be found in MAYA_PLUGIN_PATH, although I do have the bonus tools installed and the audioWave bundle loaded. Im running osx snow leapard. Thx!
