cr_skinAssist is a script that assists with assigning weight values for skinned models. The tool serves as an alternative to the component editor and assistant to the paint skins brush. It allows the user to have exact control of how much weight is applied per bone based on selection. It also gives the user a better ordering of weight distribution, and an ability to isolate mesh by influence and expand or shrink what is isolated. The tool also has a prune/mirror weights feature, this will prune or mirror weights across axis while perserving the pose.
