Script to define initial velocities in rigid body simulations using the Bullet Dynamica plugin for Maya allowing the artist to get more controllable simulations.
The script creates a series of locators that define a vector and hooks it up to the initial velocity and spin of the rigid bodies, giving the artist an intuitive way to visualize the direction the rigid body will follow.
Tested on Maya 2011 and above in Mac and Windows, should work in Linux but haven't tested it myself.
To run this script you'll need to copy it to your python enabled scripts folder in your Maya directory and type the following command in the Python command line:
import dynamica_velocity_helpers_UI
