Our studio needed a quick and easy way to batch render a list of individual frames directly from maya. This script was created to allow our artist to submit multiple non-sequential frames from within maya. Currently by default Maya 2016 does not have an option for submiting a list of individual frames.
1. Choose the scene you want to render. 2. Choose where you want to save your frames.
3. Choose path for batch render file to save. 3. Either enter a start and end frame for rendering a specific range or list the frames you would like to render (use comma's to separate the frames in your list, use -1 in the start field to disable the render range option). 4. Submit your render.
