Any chance you could update this script to also work with render and animation layers in Maya 2009? UI integration would also be fantastic. Otherwise I love this script! -

it works in 2009. source the script and call the function... an integration into the maya ui, like ya-selectionManager would be AWESOME. thanks for this. -

I am waiting for a bit of spare time to check (and eventually update) HDL for Maya 2009. UI integration in Maya should be in the next main release. Keep in touch and thanks for feedback! Vincenzo -

I ALWAYS longed for being able to have photoshop like layers in maya.. this is something autodesk should PAY you to place in their futer versions of maya.. I dis run into a problem .. in the latest version of hdl_UI you only include the me. file and when I try to run hdl_UI I get error: File not found: refresh.xpm... The prev version of hdl_UI was a zip file with bmp's not xpm's of the icons.. aslo yo say to place the icons in the maya user's SCRIPTS folder ..can you cange this to put these icons in the icons folder so the xpms/bmps dont clutter our scripts folder?..
