Maya seems to be lacking a simple way to snap objects/verts on specific axis.
Usage: Designate target object or vert with "<<" then select objects to move and choose the axis you want to move them on.
Will be updating as script develops to work on all components, use min/max/average bounding boxes etc.
Should work on most later maya versions. Any ideas, let me know.
