This script is an edited version of the built in Maya script mentalrayAreaLightAddAttrs.mel. It fixes the annoying Maya 8 Mental Ray Area Light bug where the High and Low Samples for each light reset when files are reloaded. (Note: this may not effect old lights so you might have to recreate them.) Enjoy!
