    You can source the script or you can drag it to the Script Editor, run it and then run: craOBJSequences; or copy the script to one of your script paths and then run: craOBJSequences; to show the UI.

    Hey Charlie, gonna necro a dead comment thread here. Just wondering what you mean by run: craOBJSequences? Do you mean double-click on the .mel file after executing the script in the script editor? Or do you mean enter that line as a command in the script editor? I'm new to using scripts in Maya, and I haven't been able to figure this one out. Any help or confirmation would be lovely.

    Hi, the tool is working properly, until now the tool didn't export materials. It is something I have been delaying for a while but now I've added "Export options", there you can choose to export materials and other options. Thanks for the feedback.

    Yes it does. To begin with you have to know how to use it. Which Maya version? which operating system? how are you using it? what errors do you find? in a nutshell. Can you elaborate a bit more how it does not work? Thanks.

    It works in Maya 2015. There was a minor glitch in the UI in Maya 2015 that has been addressed in version 1.2.1. Other than that the tool works ok in Maya 2015 in my tests. Which operating system? how are you using it? what errors do you find? Can you elaborate a bit more how it does not work? Thanks.

    I don't think it is an error, It is just that you are missing some step to use the script. Here is what you can do: You can source the script or you can drag it to the Script Editor, run it and then run: craOBJSequences; or copy the script to one of your script paths and then run: craOBJSequences; to show the UI.

    Hi to everybody. There are many posts here that say the script does not work or errors out but none of you say which error you have, you say it does not work only. Well, I must say it is quite unuseful and unhelpful saying that. In order to provide some solution I must know the issue. This script has been tested and works properly on windows. Here is one walk-through on how to use this script properly in case you don't know: 1. Run this command (it outputs your user script folder): internalVar -usd; 2. Copy the file "craOBJSequences.mel" to that folder (user script folder). 3. Run "rehash" MEL command or restart Maya 4. Run "craOBJSequences" from the command line, shelf button or Script Editor to show the UI. 5. That's it. Enjoy the tool. Thanks for the feedback.

    This is what I get  when I sourse the script:
    // Warning: file: C:\Users\render\Downloads\OBJSequenceExport.mel line 32: The -bs/-borderStyle flag is obsolete and should not be used. //

    Then I try to open it somewhere else, copy paste it and run it but when I type " craOBJSecuences; " in MEL this is what I get:
    craOBJSequences;
    // Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "craOBJSequences". //

    Then when I sourse the other .MEL script that comes in the zip  I still get the:
    // Warning: file: C:\Users\render\Downloads\OBJSequenceExport.mel line 32: The -bs/-borderStyle flag is obsolete and should not be used. //
    and a OBJ Secuense Export window opens with the filepath but when I press Export it! maya can't find the object.
