OK once downloaded and unzipped, how do we add the script to Maya, I am in script editor but have no idea where to go from there? OK found my own answer, but to help those that get stuck here. Go to Window/Plug-in Editor and then look for the OBJ Exporter and click the load check box and autoload. This will then allow you to export obj's, nice for those of us wanting to import these into ZBrush!

@chiewhong .rar is a compressed file format, you need something like WinRar or StuffIt Expander on a Mac to uncompress it.

When creating .obj files a .mtl file really needs to be with that file. As well as importing.

Will this one work on Mac? If not, are there any possibilities to port it? :)

This is great, i use it all the time as a one click way to sort out all sorts of model problems and loose all those hidden Maya nodes. Thanks
