Adding a vray smooth attribute to objects can be tedious. You have to open the Attribute Editor.Add a subdivision attribute & then a subdivision and displacement quality attribute. Then yuo have to correct the subdivision level from its default 256 to something more managable like 2 0r 3. For each object!
This simple tool will create the necessary attributes for each selected object with a max subdivision value of whatever you choose. It can be used on multiple objects at once and also can be used to change the max subdivision level once the smooth attributes are created. It's a very simple tool that saves me TONS of time.
I created this tool because I could not find a way to apply vRay smooth to multiple objects at once. If someone knows how please tell. :)
This was written in Maya 2013 but should work on All OS's and all Maya versions.
\\/*\ version 1.1.... I fixed issue with UI and added a function to delete vraySubdivision attributes from selected objects. /*\//
