-fixed those annoying periods that showed up in the proxy path which would cause a Read node to raise an error when in proxy mode

-oops, forgot to make normal Read nodes work again if nothing is selected so the SmartRead proc can replace the default Read call in the menu.tcl

- fixed compatibility with Nuke 4.5.27
- reads the frame padding properly now (should work for any amount of digits)
- checks if files exist on disk and pops up warning message if they don't
