Creating nodes

To create a node simply type it's class and hit enter.

create a blur node:

Blur
create the node without opening it's control panel:
Blur {}
create the node without opening it's control panel but make it selected:
Blur -New

create the node and assign a few values.

syntax:
{ etc...}

example:
Blur {name "NewBlur" size 10}

Sometimes a node's name in the menu is different from it's class. The Transform node for example is just called "2D" in the menu but it's class is "Transform".

If you're not sure about a node's class simply check it's main tab in the parameter panel.
