Here are a couple of hacks I made, they are primitive creation tools with A LOT more control than the default tools. Just one catch, you need to open a couple of ppg’s in your explorer . Open the G_profile’s geometry node lock that and lock it open. Then open the G_sphere,G_donut or G_tube’s revalotion node and play with the different settings. These are hacks but I have found them very useful.
