Mental Ray broken after uninstall

It seems that after I uninstalled MentalCore from Maya 2011 Hotfix 3 x64 the render settings dialog for Mental Ray is broken. I already deleted the Prefs folder to let Maya create a new set. But no luck. The Mental Ray specific tabs will not appear. If i click on the still visible Maya Software tab than this error message appears in the script editor:
