This is a know MMtoKey issue, me and Andrey are at work to fix it! -
FormJune said over 9 years ago:
:D No, Davide, I'm still idle. But I have an idea how to fix. spurv3d, please, download standart version of MMtoKey which works fine with several monitors. -
Davide Alidosi said over 9 years ago:
Hi spurv3d, I've create a custom MMtoKey version based on standard invoke procedure that can use all the May9 Marking Menu, you can download from here: https://corsopc.it/files/mmtokey.zip As Andrey tell, a full fix can be take a little longer. -

From version 1.5.10 is possible use contextual workflow on multiple monitor, but the mouse button scheme is change: - Press and hold Z + LMB = Enable the contextual Marking Menus based on selection, combination of selection or panels - Press and hold Z + MMB = Enable the universal Marking Menu - Press and hold Z + RMB = Standard Maya RMB behavior -

So, you decided to make default Maya's click combination as it was before? :3 -
Davide Alidosi said over 9 years ago:
Yeah! I think this the best thing to do, first because it fix multi monitor limitation, and second because it make May9 workflow more consistent to standard Maya behavior. -
FormJune said over 9 years ago:
I think I should do the same with my request. just close and say that's better! Xd Like an Apple: we better know what you need XD -

So now I'm sure to be on the road of success! -

Hi you guys, Good news and bad news! The Second Monitor is working perfectly now. Bad news... The middle mouse button doesn't any more hahaha..... Switching back to my old May 9 personal setup, makes the middle mouse work again. Any Idea? -
FormJune said over 9 years ago:
Yeah, just add command to nullify non-click command when mm is called. So, Davide said he had fixed that, but I didn't see new code. Maybe works, maybe not. Have a luck XD -

Hmmmm...... I think I was a little to over optimistic :-p The second Monitor setup works fine now. --> GOOD The Left button Works, and gives the correct MM. --> GOOD The Middle button now Works, and gives the correct MM. (The Create Menu) --> GOOD The Right button gives the default Maya Right button Menu. ----> BAD Is there a way to get the previous behavior back? Or is the 3th mouse button makeing the second monitor unable to work? and its or a second monitor or a extra mouse button to program? -
FormJune said over 9 years ago:
Please, read 4th from top message! I don't really understand why is there need to call the same menu from RMB what LMB does? Maya's panels have RMB menu by default. Any attempt to replace just permanently takes off standart one. There're way to solve but: 1. it's difficult and takes a lot of time. 2. Need to modify some system files -> difficult to install. -

Hi Snatcher, actually is really difficult override the mapping of right mouse button because is not callable by MEvent class (https://help.autodesk.com/view/MAYAUL/2016/ENU/?guid=__cpp_ref_class_m_event_html). The previous release of MMtoKey for May9 use a pyside code that create a transparent overlay for bypass MEvent, but the trick do not work on multi monitor setup. So I have create some code to query MMB by using the standard invoke MMtoKey procedure, that is better than nothing ;). Davide
