When installing the script for the first time, after following directions in the included PDF, whne running the comment 'icQRsetup' from the command prompt, it gives an error saying thati the name I entered for the 'shelf' is not a valid object.

Which name did you enter and does a shelf with this name exist? It works fine on my side so it must be name related and is no bug.

Sorry to take so long to respond . . . but, it would appear then that I'm not copying something correctly. I followed the directions carefully - I think - but . . . Since I am stupid (well, really, I'm just a bit of a n00b), could you tell me precisely which directories which files go into, and where they are? I'm on Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite, if it helps. :-)

Sorry, but I don't understand. Your initial question was regarding the shelf to add the icons to but what has this to do with where the files go?

Sorry if I wasn't clear — as for where the files go, I was just asking that to see if I had in fact installed it correctly. What's happening is that no matter *what* I call the shelf — i.e., I could call it "QRigger" or "Bob" or "My Shelf", etcetera — Maya kicks back the same error, saying that an object with that name could not be found.

As far as script placement is concerned take a look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUkS2IwU19s Also with the script comes installation instructions. All information is in there. You have to enter the name of the current shelf. Meaning you select the shelf you want to add the icons to and then run the script.

hotkey -keyShortcut "Y" -name ("icQRchangeSpaceMM_NameCommand"); hotkey -keyShortcut "Y" -releaseName ("icQRchangeSpaceMMpopDown_NameCommand"); Hi, I have installed the plugins but the hotkey "Y" does not work on Maya 2015. It seems that the 2 scripts are missing in the scripts folder. Is that correct ? thanks
