on a Mac?

Hey, I'm tyring to use this script on maya 2016 on a Mac. I followed the steps and installed it like it said. However, when I click on SETUP in the window, I get this error

// Error: line 6: Cannot find procedure "ArcLength".
or
// Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "TreadMaker".

It can't find these .mel files. Where do I place these files on a Mac? Right now I have them under

/Users/Khumar/library/Preferences/Autodesk/maya/2016/prefs/scripts

There are about 3 scripts folder in the maya folder

/Users/Khumar/library/Preferences/Autodesk/maya/2016/prefs/scripts
/Users/Khumar/library/Preferences/Autodesk/maya/scripts
/Users/Khumar/library/Preferences/Autodesk/maya/2016/scripts

I placed the .mel files on all these folder and still it's giving me this error. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I tried looking for a fix but couldn't find anything.
