    Thats not a bug! I assume you fed a float attribute in a vector type, for example if you use a float perParticle attribute and use that to drive the rotation of the instancer, it wont work! You need 3 values, x, y, z. Change the float to a vector and everything will be fine. I know that mayas instancer accepts floats as well, but thats unprecise.
