Make sure you have the vray plugin loaded, if needed do a test render in the render view.
Setup the render globals to texture baking.
Select the objects you need to bake
Run the script and watch the progress in the render view.
Disclaimer: Large number of objects, if you move the camera when baking, known to have some crash issues. So save your work prior
You can run the script with parameters if you need to bake different render layers. So its ment to be a work in progress for something bigger.
