I Always reference my Rigs into a scene in case i have to make a change to the Rig or weighting, that way the changes spread down to all the files using that rig. Referencing using Name spaces and thats where i found a hitch in the "MMR" tool

The name spacing is ignored when using the "MMR" tool when selecting Signal Hierarchy joints, and also "deleting the rig" function. Luckily you have a input box on the "Select SH joints" feature of the tool so i can just type in the rigs name with the name spacing and the tool works fine at selection the joints. But Deleting the Rig and Proxies feature there isn't a Input box so the function keeps failing because it doesn't detect the rig. Maybe you can add an "input box" like you have on the "select joints" for weighting part to the "delete rig" part of the tool so the name can be typed in if it has name spacing.

Thanks

The way to select the joints is exactly as you say. You have to load the rig into the field and then press the "Select Skinning Joints". As far as deleting the rig, you cannot do that with a referenced file of any kind. Instead, you need to delete the reference from the reference editor. -Dustin
